MEGAMAN X is a 2D action game that puts you in the shoes of both Megaman X (either X or Zero) and his friend, who goes by the name of Roll. The two protagonists must face an entire army of robots that were created by the villainous scientist Dr. Weil.

Everything has been created to make your life miserable as you fight your way through more than 60 levels spread out over three different worlds. Your objective: destroy all of Dr. Weil's robot creations.

Just like in the original console versions, you can't kill the bad doctor himself, but you can do a lot of damage to his lab and its surroundings. You're armed with your trusty buster and a variety of weapons that come from X's arsenal from the original Megaman games (if it's X, then it's probably in here). You'll also have a special weapon that allows you to combine your shots.

Another strength of MEGAMAN X is that it has cooperative play, which allows you to face many of the levels with a friend by your side. As you progress through the story mode, you'll eventually be able to unlock new weapons and power-ups for your characters. MEGAMAN X is a video game adaptation that doesn't disappoint, even if it doesn't break any new ground.
